After some swimming in the pool, we explored the lodge! I have so many memories of time spent here with my family...and then from celebrating our wedding reception here. It's just a special place!!
We changed clothes after our exploration and took off to visitor's center. DAd showed Owen lots of cool fossils and bones. They played in a replica eagles nest (which is HUGE!) and we enjoy meandering through the lodge grounds on a really pretty day!
They may or may not have knocked a branch off this thing...and picked it up and put it back on. Shhh...I won't tell if you don't!!
Our last stop was a Grafton eatery for a lunch. We ate while watching some boats go by on the river. A perfectly awesome summertime adventure!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa :)
