Falling Flat

Boy when it comes to blogging have I lost my touch!!  The worst part is I still have lots of blog post ideas hit my brain in a day.  But making my way to the laptop has become lost on me.  Regardless I am not giving up just yet.  I think I can bring us back to up to speed. But the only way that is possible is if I dig my heels in and get to it.  That being said, I have a kiddo begging for a morning trip to IHOP…so my time this morning is cut short. This same kiddo will all too soon be heading into 1st grade and next week he'll be sitting in his classroom at this time!  So this morning it's laptop down…adventure pants on because IHOP here we come. 

But never fear…these three cuties are keeping me on my toes, having a pretty awesome summer and enjoying life as the Linley 5.  More coming very soon!

The Lost Posts - October, Getting Started

Oreos, Thomas the train sun glasses and cowboy boots.  That's just about right for picking up big brothers from kindergarten!

After a rocking dentist appt from both kiddos, we splurged and enjoyed a little lunch and playtime at McDonalds :)

What is the month of October without pumpkin picking and farm fun?? This year we headed to Rhodes pumpkin farm to try a little different pumpkin getting experience!

We painted our much overdue-for-paint living room.  It's so much better!!

While we were at it, we painted our bathroom…it matches our bedroom and I love it! This room is in need of a major reno…gut and redo type of deal. But we have a few other projects that are up the list in priority so this will do for now!

The boys and I took their scooters for a trip through the park after school one day.  I think I'm kind of crazy every time I debate doing this alone…right now I don't have enough hands and arms to keep them all wrangled in!

There was a lot of mud and this one ended up in his skivvies for the ride home...

I thought the last picture like this was the only one I have of him in his undies and my high heels.  Oh not so!  This gem was in the October folder.  One day I bet he hates that I have these pictures.  I'll call it sweet justice!

Waiting on meds for yet another double ear infection…not even kidding.  Every time we go to the doc!

He lost his first TOOTH!!  He was so excited!!  A second shortly followed….and we currently have a loose top tooth.  Can't believe it!!

I started doing Wildtree Freezer Meal workshops in May of last year…there is no going back.  I have a post in my head to share the wealth of knowledge I learned from doing these.  It's a game changer!
