Its uncanny how this face looks like mine when I was a kid...especially here.
We celebrated Autism Awareness Day. This touches our lives and those we know. I believe the more we know the closer we will come to finding connections to the increase in occurrence and ways to treat it.
Our crazy Dec is getting old. She's taken to curling up on the floor by my side of the bed on top of pillows. It makes me sad because her habits are changing and she's just not herself anymore. She's crazy and difficult, but she's ours and we love her. And things like this are her way of showing us she loves us right back.
Love.this.kid. He's so happy.
He also talks with his eyes. And often I think when he can talk for real, he'll have lots to say!
More hilarity.
An impromptu Sunday lunch...complete with a bloody mary! Yum!
One day while Owen was at school, Cooper and I ventured to the mall. We had a blast playing and ended the whole thing with a cookie stop. Much fun!
Sleepy boy...he's not a fan of napping so when this happens I soak it up!
Post bath snuggles with my littlest.
Goodbye old, run down, uneven burnered stove!! You were good to us. But it was time.
Helllllloooo gorgeous! Momma is happy!
I found them sitting like this talking. It just cracked me up and melted my heart. They are buddies through and through.
We went to the Cincoski's for an evening play date and boy did we have fun!! This conversation was serious. Something important was going down!! Good times were had by all!
My mornings look a lot like this:
Followed by this face and smile. I'm a lucky lady!
Oh and this.
Pajamas are overrated. And all mornings must begin with milk. Their kinda like me and coffee. Do not compute.
The boys made a royal mess in the sandbox this day.
We took showers afterwards.
More happy boy smiling.
Coop and Momma selfie. This kid makes me laugh and cry in a span of 5 minutes!
One Sunday morning we woke up and I begged Jeremy to go out and be among people! It had felt like a long couple months of staying away from public places and germs. So we took off to grab lunch and let the boys spend some Toys R Us giftcards. It was our first trip to this particular toy store and the boys went nuts!! We left the store and ate a meal...all five of us..at TGI Fridays. No one lost their marbles and everyone ate. Successes all around. And when we got home, the boys had a ball on their new scooters!
Owen's school pictures. Last spring and this spring. Such a handsome little guy!!
We caught a random round of a flu bug...and Cooper got the worst of it. He was not impressed!
Greyson and I snuggling after a long couple days of throwing up, laundry and a generally sleepy family of 5. I remember being so thankful that we were able to recover so easily from something like the flu. A little lysol, a little laundry and every thing would go back to normal. It's not always that easy in life.
Signs for the boys room that I could not LOVE more!! Thanks Steff for ordering them for me! A reno post on the kids room is very overdue and hopefully coming soon!
Ahhh. This summer harvest edition of Blue Moon makes me happy!
Brothers.
We dyed some Easter Eggs.
Saturday of Easter we did some Easter place mat coloring and enjoyed a lazy morning!!
Easter Sunday Greyson came down with the stomach bug Cooper had earlier the week before. So 3 of my boys took off for an egg hunt and delicious BBQ at Grandma Stacey's with our Linley crew. They hunted eggs and played hard.
When they got home there was this:
Owen had a sports day at the new school he will attend in the fall. We had a great time watching him run and play with friends. Afterwards he chose McDonalds for lunch. It's fun hanging with one kid at a time sometimes because it's all about them and you get great one-on-one time!!
After our lunch we picked up the other two boys and we ran an errand to Target. On our way out of the parking lot we discovered a turtle crossing the parking lot. We decided to rescue him and let him go in our yard. The boys thought it was awesome! Honestly we did too!
While at Target Owen and Coop got some new summer tennis shoes. Owen is pretty stoked about his!
Later that day Cooper wanted to go see the turtle. He asked us if he went back home to his family. Precious words out of the mouths of babes.
After our turtle adventures, he helped me feed the birds. This kid loves animals of all kinds. No fear and completely curious and in awe of all things creature.
Apparently we wear this kiddo out. And this is one of his favorite sleeping positions.
We got shirts delivered to our house for our Zoo walk.
Playdoh is a favorite past time in our house.
Someone loves this piano mat that Aunt Jackie let us borrow. Way more fun than our gym we had for our other two boys!
Easter Candy insanity.
Shoe love.
Easter egg deliciousness...I have created a version of egg salad that I cannot get enough of!
My little helper.
Lookin' fly in his little jump suit.
Some outdoor play time with my kiddos. Love the PJ's tops and bubble wands and Coop's camo galoshes.
The week after Easter we went to hunt eggs at Grandma and Grandpa's. It was an afternoon of fun!!
He picked me flowers :)
And finally...I save the plastic wraps that our diapers come in because on each one Huggies has a code. You enter the code and get points. Points get you free stuff...like more diapers. This was a long overdue pile that I entered. It took me about an hour. Shew!
And that about wraps up April. May is up next and I think I can get back into my usual style of posting by event :) Shew! I hope I don't get so far behind again! Wish me luck!
