Jeremy and I celebrated nine years of marriage this past October. It was kind of crazy how fast the time has gone!
We kicked off the day by taking these two crazies to the pumpkin patch with UABC Preschool. It was such a fun morning!
The daring duo with their pumpkins!
Isabel the scarecrow!
Coop the scarecrow!
Mrs. Cash giving them instructions on the bean bag toss…turn taking is so hard for these guys!!
But they tried hard and got it!
Playing on the playground!
Taking off on adventure with Mrs. Romano to tour the farm…Christmas trees, asparagus, peach trees…this place has it all! And it's right in our own backyard.
A little McDonalds for lunch afterwards fills up hungry bellies from all the pumpkin farm running! And happy meals toys are awfully cute aren't they??
After the pumpkin farm excitement, we got everyone dropped at their proper destinations and headed to St. Louis! Our favorite artist was playing a show at the Peabody Opera House the day of our anniversary…so we seized the opportunity and got away for an overnight. We got a night's stay at the hotel at Union Station. It was a beautiful hotel…and not going to lie, we paid a little extra for valet parking and it was the way to go!!
We took off to a place called Vin de Set for dinner. It was a french cuisine restaurant with the prettiest rooftop! I fell in love instantly with the atmosphere! The food to follow was insanely delicious…and I can't wait to go back!!
My first French 75.
The view.
My handsome husband!
Our appetizer…I forget now what we got. But it was amazing!
Butternut squash soup…it was to die for!
My first experience with a pork roulade. It was one of the most delicious thing I've ever eaten. And I'm not exaggerating.
Unlike himself Jer ordered a steak and fries. Not his favorite, but we shared mine and decided next time he'd try something like mine!
A crumb brûlée…on the house to celebrate our anniversary!
Patio lights…so pretty! Why yes we'll order another drink!
At the Peabody waiting for Jason Mraz.
Such a great show!!
The next morning we took off from our hotel and walked down to get some lunch. We decided on Bailey's Range…and then we wandered the City Garden. I loved being able to walk a few blocks to our destinations!
Such a fun time with this guy. I couldn't ask for a better partner to adventure with than this guy. So blessed to call him my best friend!!
