Our 30 Week Checkup!

Last Friday Cooper and I had our 30 week check up. I was so glad because Dadda was able to join us at this appointment!  That made our waiting room wait so much easier!

The good news that came from this appointment is that everything is looking great once again!  Which is just what we like to hear J  Cooper is weighing around 3.5 or so pounds. So he is big for this stage of the game.  I’m measuring 32 weeks ahead so just slightly bigger than my actual week mark on the calendar.  My weight gain is still right on par…and it appears to be leveling off a bit.  Dr. T did mention that I needed to purchase an iron supplement b/c I am slightly anemic.  So I’m trying right now to eat more leafy greens and red meat…and then take a supplement.  So we’ll see if at our next checkup, the count goes up!

The only other news is that Dr. Talsky may be taking a vacation during our “would be 39 week scheduled c-section.”  So instead of planning a date at this appointment, he asked us to wait until our next 3 week check up…which will be June 24.  And he will have a firm decision for us and we’ll get something on the calendar.  I am not going to stress (YET!) about what this means…but I’m fearful it may mean I have to wait till I’m 40+ weeks.  Hopefully though, it will not.

We are anxiously awaiting our 33 week check up and realizing with each passing day that we are getting really close to meeting Lil Coop!!

Beth you are so right!! I do need to get some pics up pronto! It's one of my goals this weekend :)

I hope Madden and Lainey are doing well! They grow so fast don't they?

Yes they do! Madden is at such a fun age, but it is a BIG adjustment going from one to two. I find myself trying to give my attention equally but it doesn't always turn out that way. Just enjoy little Mr. Owen these next few weeks, he is one precious little guy!
