We took Owen for a haircut at a place just for kids. His last couple haircuts with Aunt Jackie have been extremely stressful for both him and for her…and honestly us b/c it requires one of us to hold him down…there are tears…red splotches. It’s just a haircut…it shouldn’t be torture for anyone involved. So anyway…we finally broke down and scheduled him an appointment at Kiddo’s Closet and Clips in Edwardsville. If you are in the STL IL Metro and need a neat place to take your kids, this one will do the trick!
Owen chose a blue truck to sit in. He watched the Bee Movie, held a toy truck and read a story all in a short 20 minute span of cutting. I will not say there were no tears, b/c when she got out the clippers there were a few shed by me…and when she got out the scissors there were a few shed by Owen!! But, it was quick and painless and the end result was a nice even haircut perfect for summer!
