About catching up...our 35 almost 36 week checkup...and a belly shot!

Boy do I have some catching up to do!!  There has been so much going on this summer with us that it’s been impossible to keep track of everything in a timely manner! Not to mention, the end of the day (my usual blog time) has become my most uncomfortable part of the day...so laying in bed is all I can muster most evenings!!  I certainly do however, want to recap as much as I can. Thankfully my camera was by my side for every minute so I at least have a good memory jogger of things to post!  

Before I get into the individual posts on what we've been up to, I thought I'd post the latest on me and the Coopster!

Last Friday I had my 35 checkup.  I was 35 weeks and 5 days...nearly 36 WEEKS!!!  I had a morning appointment with Dr. T.  After Friday's appointment we learned that I am measuring about 3 weeks ahead at 38 weeks.  My weight gain and blood pressure again were where they should be and doing well.  Yay!  Cooper's heartbeat a steady and again a consistent 140/141.  We also learned that he is 6 to 6.5 pounds and gunning to beat his brother's birth weight by a pretty good margin.  Since we will have him at 39 weeks though, my Momma's intuition says he won't be beating big brother...and honestly...I'm a ok with that!  My c-section is currently scheduled for 12:30pm on the 1st, though there is hope we can move it to 8am.  I would honestly love to not have a 12:30 surgery b/c that means I'll have to go that much longer without food and who am I kidding...wait around thinking about it all morning the day of!  So...I'm crossing my fingers for the 8am time frame to work out!  We won't really know till the week before, but at least its on Dr. Talsky's radar.

All in all it was a great checkup!! We're getting closer and closer to the finish line!  I go back to the doctor next Friday the 15th for another checkup.  Weeklys are upon us!  Eeeek!!

Oh and the belly shot.  Jer thinks this is just hilarious....before taking this he asked me if I was smuggling our basketball!  He followed it with..it's beautiful babe.  Nice!  I think I'm in agreement with the basketball comment for sure!
