My Boys!
We would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys seeing nature up close! It was amazing!
Just one of the many, many photos we took of everything around us. I'm saving those for a post on their own.
Owen checkin' out some bugs...they freaked me out!
Before entering or leaving you had to stop in these doors. When you entered you had to let one close before opening another. When leaving workers actually stood there and checked to be sure you weren't carrying a hitchhiker on your clothes or anywhere on you. They had big mirrors so you could look at yourself!
We went through one time with the stroller...then came out, ditched it and went back in without it! Way better :) Owen toddled around looking at everything and had so much fun!
This bench was so fun. And Owen sat there like a big boy!
It was about 85 degrees and extremely humid...poor Owen has my hair and it turned right into ringlets about 20 minutes into our adventure!
Across from the Butterfly House there is an indoor carousel. Tickets are $1 and it's it really very beautiful and historic. We actually got to take Owen on for free because he is under 2, got a free ticket from someone leaving who had an extra and because we only had our debit card, they let Jer ride for free!
It really got cookin' after a few minutes...and this was the face we got! Priceless!
Dadda and the O man after our ride.
We got Owen a Band in a Box type thing for his birthday. It's more of a band inside a drum. It came with catepillar drum sticks, bee clacker/shaker, lady bug tamborine and 3 shaker eggs. He really has a lot of fun with it!! And it was a fun way to end Owen's first birthday :)

I love those curls. Also, the butterfly house looks like fun, I don't think that I have ever been there, will have to ask Casey, maybe Owen would like to go again??
The address to Toot's is 1915 N.Belt E. in Belleville. It's actually on highway 161 (the other end of the road that Metrolink in Fairview is on). I went there the day before Owen's b-day party and wished I knew about it before to tell you. They have different cartoon character pans for kids.
I love his face on the carousel!
