I had a very blessed week...and I am thankful for:
A Thursday afternoon enjoying the St. Louis Zoo with Jer and Owen
Enjoying a impromtu pedi w/ Steff
Spending our 4th of July Holiday at Walnut Days...which meant we spent it with Grandma and Grandpa Linley, Uncle Mark, Aunt Shari, Jennifer, Jeff, Jessie, and Jordan!
Watching Owen watch his first Walnut Days Parade. He LOVED the tractors!
A Rotary Breakfast complete with pancakes and sausage
Laughing b/c Owen spit the sausage out after he realized he couldn't chew it
Putting Owen on all kinds of tractors at the tractor show...like I said...it was a boy in love if we ever saw one!
Seeing Grandpa Linley's manure spreader...yep you read that right...manure spreader from 1940.
Seeing the most awesome fireworks Sunday night! We're talking 3 minutes of finale that we get about 30 seconds of in Alton. We were so close you could feel them in your chest. I even got hit with a few pieces of debri. Hey...it's all in the name of awesome fireworks!!!
Buying Lemonade ShakeUps and Funnel Cake with April
Watching Cars with Owen on the way home from Walnut
An easy meal at home
A frosty delicious glass of Bud Light
Watching Owen fall asleep in his high chair
That the same night this happened he was asleep before 7pm...a record early bedtime for him!
Rocking Owen before bedtime. He was so tired he just rested his head right on my shoulder...
That Owen had decided he wants to show me everything and does so by pulling me around with his little hand tightly clasped around one of my pointer fingers.
An out of routine offsite for something I'm passionate about at work...I hope to leave motivated and excited for what the rest of 2010 has in store!
That though I am spending one whole night away from home and my family, that I get the chance to enjoy the solitude and time to do something just for me.
That this week I realized I haven't been praying very much...and I'd like to begin to work on that.
Anticipating seeing Eclipse...my hubby is taking me on a date!! Thinking pizza, beer and a fabulous movie...can't beat it!
