Thankful Thursdays

It's been awhile since I’ve posted one.  But it’s a tradition I try to go back to…even after an absence!  So without further ado:  Some of these span the last few weeks…but re-reading them helps remind me of all the wonderful that life is filled with!!

A great doctor’s appointment and getting to spend the morning with my boys :)
A successful grocery shopping trip and healthy lunches and dinners!
Spending Saturday with my bestie doing girlie stuff…like getting pedicures and having lunch at Josephines!  So nice.
A warm Sunday morning
A great church service and sermon
Having Mom join me for church!
Taking time to enjoy the breeze through my kitchen windows…and do some piddling around in there.
Taking Owen to the park with Jer
Watching my hard working husband, work all day, study all night…and still have the energy to ask me about me and help with Owen’s bedtime and even a bath or two.
Maternity clothes shopping twice in a week.
That Macy’s now carries Motherhood Maternity clothes. There is a little less selection, but it’s cheaper and in my opinion, it’s all the super cute stuff they carry in the store!
Feeling Baby Boy move more and more each day J This morning I’m pretty sure he stuck his little tushy out and wasn’t budging until I gave him a few rubs and settled him back down!  I love having my little buddy bump and nudge me all day long!  One of my favorite parts of pregnancy!!
My son’s beautiful little spirit of curiosity and adventure!  He makes me laugh...every single day!
Getting out of town for a quick overnight.
Spending a few uninterrupted hours in the car with my hubby
That he completed his PE Exam
That he asked me to join him…which basically meant a day of shopping and relaxing for me!!
That Saturday morning when Owen got up…he flew into our bedroom first thing after Jer got him out of his crib…climbed into bed with me, wrapped his arms around my shoulders and laid there with me. This went on for 5 minutes at least.  And then when he drank his milk…he laid there with me as well.  Melted my heart!
That I got to spend Saturday being lazy with Jer and Owen.
Taking Owen to the park
I didn’t get pictures…but will never forget seeing Owen’s eyes light up at the HUGE puddles of mulch and mud at the park!
Walking around Glazebrook with Mike and Stacey
That Mike got to see Owen play on a swing set for the first time ever.
Making a trip to Lowe’s afterwards
Buying ourselves a new ceiling fan for the living room…I was soo excited!
Making homemade pizza and watching the boys ride the lawn mower out back
Having a long day at work but coming home to a home-cooked meal and my boys at the end of it all.
Visiting my friend Jenn and her baby Ella
Buying Owen his big boy twin bed!
Spending Sunday morning see Isabel get dedicated at church.
Finalizing all the big plans for Administrative Professionals Week at work…it’s been crazy…but it’s been a great experience!
Going to sleep before 9pm
Eating waffles for dinner
Having a chance to see Virginia one last time
Being reminded that laughter and family make everything in this life worth it!
That we survived traveling to Walnut for Grandma Linley’s funeral…with a toddler on antibiotics and a nearly 7 month pregnant lady with a serious head cold…thank you very much dear son of mine.  I love that you share everything with me!
That my husband gave his grandma a beautiful eulogy.
Watching him put his heart and soul into something for someone important in his life.  He never gives less than his best.  I love that about him.
Taking the Monday off after our travels to recoup
That work has gotten back to normal!
Spending a Saturday in Lebanon on a Linoski Adventure.  What a fun day!
Planning the boys bedroom so it can be a functional shared space. I’m not always sure that moving wasn’t a better option…however, I’m blessed to have a hubby who is as organized as I am about life in our house…so making it a working space for both Cooper and Owen is important!
Day dreaming about our play room we’re going to put together for Owen and Cooper upstairs!  We’re totally revamping our loft space with lots of fun stuff for the boys!  I can’t wait to share pictures and stories!!
A most wonderful Mother’s Day spent relaxing, doing yard work and hanging out with my boys.
After our awesome day of yard work and playing outside, Owen needed his toes scrubbed to get all the dirt out and his crocs are still sitting by our porch door waiting to be cleaned off from all the mud!
An impromptu Monday spent at home…Owen and I stayed in our PJ’s all day!!
Meeting Steff for a Target/Big Lots/Lemonade Shakeup run on a random Wednesday night!  Love it!
Potato Pearls – thank you April and Jonnie!  I have a new love!!
Lunch with girls from work – perfect way to enjoy the pretty day!
Looking forward to another great appointment tomorrow with Dr. T and Baby Boy
A successful appointment…everything looks great!
That I’m excited that I go back in 3 weeks instead of 4. It means we are getting closer to meeting Little Mister!!
Having a whole weekend to spend with the O man.
Friday night dinner with Steff and Bryan.  Dinner was delicious and the company just doesn’t get any better!
Having lunch with Mom on Saturday and doing a little shopping at Target.
Moonlight for dinner on Saturday – another yummy one!
My Mother-in law Stacey and her big big heart
A lazy lazy lazy Sunday with Owen.  We played with toys, watched movies, took naps and just enjoyed some time together!  What a great day!
A quiet Monday morning at work
Bubble baths
Re-heated Moonlight for an easy dinner
That sleep really does rejuvenate a tired body
Spending a wonderful Tuesday evening with Jeremy and Owen...we grilled pork burgers, played outside  and enjoyed time together.
Working virtual on a beautiful day.  Windows open, sun shining.  It doesn't get any better!
A trip to the Mills malls with Owen and my Mom and Dad - Owen rode the carousel and LOVED it!
Watching American Idol the same night it aired...and loving all 3 of the top 3 so much I don't care who wins. I'd buy any of their CD's!
How much my husband makes me laugh
That life is pretty darn good :)
