Easter 2013

Our Easter was a good one!  It was not our traditional Easter celebrating, but it was good none the less.

We kicked off our Easter weekend with a little double date with Hannah and Zach. Thanks so much you two! Your new place is beautiful!!  AND who knew you could carry Wasabi back up to Global Brew.  Oh and Hannah, the Tangerine wheat...awesome!  Zach can you brew us some??  Anyway, we had way too much fun :)  Love you both!

Jer's hard cider came in a cool mug.

Coop and Owen both seemed to have caught a case of sniffles and coughing...so we decided to make Saturday a day of rest. We had a pretty crabby crew around here...so it was definitely best we laid low. Sunday rolled around and we opted to skip the traditional Easter Sunday service at our church b/c of the runny noses and coughing.  In the morning we spent time around home emptying baskets, eating chocolate and attempting to convince our kids to hunt the eggs the Easter Bunny lovingly hid in the wee hours of the morning.  Around lunch time, we ventured out to Mom and Dad's for an Easter egg hunt and some delicious lunch though.

Cooper wanted you to bite the M&M eggs in half before he would eat them.  Here I am helping him out!!

The boys outfits were adorable this year.  Shirt, tie and hats...too cute!! **As a side note for myself for next year...need to get better with getting some posed shots.  I'm so mad we don't have a family one together!  Setting personal goal...NOW!**

The boys got some amazing Easter loot and we had a fun time with family!!

Uncle Josh and Aunt Katie gave Owen a whole slew of Jake and the Neverland Pirates gear. I'm pretty sure once the headband went on...it didn't come off till bedtime!!

Action shot...

I'm hopeful we are seeing our last of the cold and flu season yuckies!

Happy Easter everyone!!
