Owen Wyatt and Cooper Ayden:
My sweet boys, there is bad in this world. We can't stop it. We can't live life afraid of it. All we can do is thank God we were the lucky ones this time...and hold each other a little bit closer. And pray for those affected. I don't understand what is happening in our world right now, but I do know we never know how much time we are given. When I first pinned this beautiful quote to my Pinterest page, I imagined me being old and gray and leaving you to the world...as all parents eventually hope to do at the end of their lives. But after Sandy Hook and now this past week's events in Boston...these words take on a different meaning for me. One I hope we never face. But one that if we do, I know you've got these words to carry with you when you don't see any hope in the world at all. Try to remember when bad happens, to look for the good. Be sad for a little while, but then carry on. Try to be the positive change you want to see in the world. And remember how much you are worth...and how much I love you.
"If ever there is a tomorrow when were not together, there is something you must always remember: You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. Even if we're apart, I'll always be with you." -A.A. Milne
Love Always,
Your Momma
