Soaking it Up

Lately there are days of our life that feel like there are more moments of chaos and mayhem...than any other kind of moments.  Our life is full of back-talking.  A zillion no's. Lots of counting to 3. Picking up spills and trails of toys. Rules and messes and flat out exhaustion.

BUT......

Those very same crazy days are also filled with kisses and hugs. I love yous.  Make believe.  Discovery.  Lots and lots of laughter.  Boo-boo kisses. Spider-man bandaids. Super hero capes in the laundry. Popsicle snack times. Tender moments that stop me in my tracks. And I thank God. I try to revel in these. Soak them up!

This was one such moment :)  After a day spent counting down, time-outting and saying no till we were blue in the face...we had a perfectly amazing day the next!! And this messy blueberry-sucker covered  moment was priceless. I found them sitting next to each other like this...saying Cheers!  I love these two little guys more than I can even put into words.
