Hopefully the last of this years cold and flu!!

This past weekend...we had a restless Cooper wake us at 2am with a 101.1 fever and a horrible cough. Shortly after Coop woke back up in the morning, he took a few drinks of his milk and threw it up all over the living room.  Owen also woke up incredibly crabby and not himself. Both had been struggling with head colds for almost 2 weeks, plus allergies with the weather changes. So that morning we got the boys together and took them both to the doctor.

Verdict - double ear infections for both and Owen's included a sinus infection. Anyone elses kids puke with ear infections?  Both of ours have this year.  There is so much congestion with the viruses we've gotten this year...poor little guys...can't get rid of it!!

I took some pictures of them waiting in the doctor's office...we had an hour and a half wait...so we had time to kill!

On our way home we took off to grab medicine from the pharmacy...and we pharmacy at Schnucks...so it's grocery and pharmacy in one...which I find super helpful when you have a kiddo who needs comfort foods like popsicles and such!  While browsing the ice cream aisle we picked up some popsicles per Owen's request. He asked for one for him and one for Cooper...sweet little kiddo!  Yes...usually popsicles are reserved for outside OR at home where we can take off shirts and clean up easily!! Momma was breaking all the rules for these two because she felt so bad!!

These made waiting for our prescription forever...a little bit easier!

For Record keeping sake...Owen just so happened to weight 43 lbs and be 43.5 inches tall.  Perfecttly porportioned and gosh is he tall!!  Coop's weight wasn't discussed...because by the time we got to that...it was mayhem!!  Ahh boys.

Here's hoping this the last of the antibiotics for the season!!
