April 2015

You'll have to bare with me…April was a super busy month for us…and I dumped it all in one post to get it logged…that being said this post is long and there are a ton of pictures! You've been warned!

This was the rock bottom of SAHM-dom…unshowered, hat and shades, drop off bound.  Yikes!

Next up a few Cooper Selfies…about 5 of the 55 I found on my phone!

Three boys on a couch in their pi's...

Not proud of it, but I confiscated nearly all of these out of the easter baskets...
These will put hair on your chest.
Dying Easter eggs!
Yes we have clothes.  No my kids don't feel the need to wear them while they are home...

We kicked off Easter weekend with delicious food, great company and some awesome egg hunting.

These kids make my heart happy!!

Happy Easter from this family of 5!

I got this text message while I was in church.  Little cutie was so sleepy he crashed!!
After church we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's!  More awesome food, company and of course more egg hunting!
Easter Basket goodies!

The aftermath…so much candy!!

He's a climber…and has no fear.

Just eating some yogurt...
Packing for the lake of the ozarks…adult weekend!
Ear infection #150...

That time when I had a bottle of nail polish get broken in a bag and I stuck my hand down in there and cut it!
Daddy was out of town…so we partied in our room!
More lake prepping!
Waiting to go get Owen!
Yep.  Boots.
It never fails that we have a major storm when Jer is out of town at this conference every April.
Helping Owen with his homework...
Painting...

Laundry messes compliments of Greyson.  Oh yes it was folded before he pulled it all out.
Bandaids on Cooper's ouchie.
Oh I'm not doing anything Mommy…just dismantling my nightlight cause ya know…I can.
Lake weekend to the Ozarks…to the Cincoski's wonderful new lake condo…um yes please!!

I have missing pictures…and I have no idea why…but there are several missing!!  After a lot of dining, drinking and spending time with awesome friends…we stopped for a lunch, grabbed a delicious dessert and hit the road for home!
The day we returned I had two dentist appointments and a trip to Sams…I proudly tackled with all three kiddos in tow.  It was success from beginning to end and I slept pretty great that night!!

Our Dentist office has a great spot for playing while you wait!  It makes it all a little easier!

After a great checkup for both we headed to Wendy's for a little lunch!

Back on the home front….mess maker hit his work hard...

More donut shop visiting!

Yep..he likes to carry the kitchen towels around…sometimes he puts them where they don't belong.
A field trip with these two crazies…I mean cuties!!!

We walked from the preschool to the fire house down the road.  It was so fun and the kids were so great!  Everyone was impressed and in awe!
Um excuse me…I have some questions.

Look out!  Coop is driving!

Did you catch this guys face??  He even looks scared.
Isabel's turn!
Doll face!!
A fully dressed firefighter came out and talked to the kids about what to do if you ever see someone dressed like him…it helped the kids not be afraid.

The whole awesome little class!!

Another beautiful weather day…we met up for some lunch and a park date at Culp Lane park!

Prepped for a mini-art paint session!  It was a mess, but they kids had a blast!!
We took the boys to Gordon Moore to run off some energy…and we had a blast!!

After the park…we needed some ice cream!

After he eats something he loves he always makes the mmmmmm sound.  This got the "Mmmmm…it's good" Greyson seal of approval!  It was plain vanilla ice cream.  Grandma Mike would be proud!
I forgot to mention…on our way to the park Cooper got his hand stuck in the back of the van door.  This is much better than it looked at first.  It was scary!  Thankfully we were right there and were able to really get it stopped and no trip to the ER.
1, 2, 3….drink!
More making messes with my folded laundry.  OMG no wonder I'm a crazy person!!
While Jeremy was on another business trip I sat down with a glass of wine and this!
Hungry Hippo…it got a little heated.
The never ending clothes consolidating and swapping!
Someone finally has wore this dog down...
Missing Mr Linley…this business trip was a long one for this crew…especially because it closely followed another one!
Little cutie pie!!
Golden Oreos…don't mind if we do!
The school had a mini-art display and contest held during a family reading night.  I had to run some signs up to school on this day to label the art. I stepped back and took some pics of the kids work.  These were the canvases we painted…inspired by springtime and Monet.  One of my favorite projects of the year!

Spring got a little busy!!
We also got a visit from Aunt Jackie, Ryder and Landon!!

These are kind of hard to look at because I know what happened while all the above was going on.  At the time I didn't know that night I'd be heading to the hospital for my grandma. Who then passed away the next day.  It was an insane few days.

The day she passed away I asked Jeremy to take me to get something to eat…or really drink.  I didn't sleep well for a couple weeks from nightmares and this picture was the beginning of all of that.
We didn't have an official funeral for her per her wishes.  So we went about our normal life and schedule the next few days.  It felt so strange but it was what she wanted so we did it with heavy hearts.  Life keeps moving even if we don't want it to right?  And Grandma wouldn't want anyone making a fuss…
So our first order of business was hair dos that we had previously scheduled. Greyson's first!! He was a rock star!

I have the best best friend. Ever. The end.
We also had a surprise 30th birthday dinner for Jonnie that weekend…Hannah and Zach had agreed to babysit!!  They love our kids so much…the kids love them the same back…so it's always fun getting to tell the kids they are hanging with them!
He requested to wear this to Hannah and Zach's house while they watched them!
Taking my grandma with me to dinner that night. I have so many pieces of her costume jewelry.
Missing Grandma a lot…and so thankful for this photo. She LOVED us coming over on Halloween to trick or treat.
Lookin sharp with his new haircut!
My grandma loved this place called the Wooden Nickel.  We met for a lunch that weekend in her honor.  I will never forget standing in Grandma's ER room and looking around at my brother and Devon and Katie and Jeremy and saying…where are the adults right now???  We need them to come back in here.  I can't be the adult right now…I'm just a kid.  These adults have been the greatest examples besides my grandparents I could ask for.  Important people in my life and have been since I was tiny.  I loved getting this picture of them!

That night Dad and I took off and met Uncle Don and Aunt Pam to listen to Uncle Doug play!  He is awesome and the band was awesome too!

Heading to our Pioneer Club Sunday celebration with the boys!
Another necklace of Grandmas.
Getting badges and talking to us parents about our awesome little guys.  I love our church and the children's ministry.  The people involved have a heart from kids and God and it's inspiring and wonderful.

We met with my brother, Katie and parents that Sunday to just be together…Chinese food was on the menu.  Josh and I also made a trip to Grandma's house and looking back I can't even remember why right now.  It was one of the hardest things I've done in my adult life besides the day Mike died.

Coming back to find this made my heart happy.

A report from Owen's school.  I'm a proud Momma!!
More from a mess making expert hard at work!

It's hard work though...
Owen lost his 3rd tooth.
The weather kept getting better and we enjoyed it!
Owen's school went on a field trip.  We toured the grocery store, the post office, the police station, stopped for a lunch break and then went to the firehouse!  What a day!!!

Yep.  You know who did this!
My best friend suggested aerial yoga.  I didn't walk right for a few days. But it was fun!!  And that my friends was our April. Shew no wonder I was ready for the end of the school year!!
