Cooper!!
I was hesitant to pick too early or share too early…but this Sunday marked week 28 for he and I. So I figure it’s time we let the cat out of the bag!!
Cooper is an English name and it loosely means – Barrel Maker. For a little more on this you can check out this Wikipedia link. Apparently a "cooper" by trade does more than just make barrels...they do lots of other types of things related to it as well.
This meaning is not why we like the name. It actually had nothing to do with the choice. But in choosing it, we of course wanted to learn about its origin and meaning!! I think what I've learned so far, means coopers were creative and hardworking. And depending on the type of barrels they made...may have had some fun on the job too ;)
Anyway, we like the name for the possibilities that it can bring. It also just rolls off our tongues well. And I think it fits right along with Owen when I imagine myself yelling for our crazy children to come inside after playing all day in the backyard!!
The middle name is still to come…so stay tuned!
So that's that! In that first week of August, we will be introducing/unleashing Cooper to the world!
