Our February was filled with snow, ear infections, an RSV outbreak with son #3 and a girls get-away for this weary Momma. After hitting the major highlights of our February in other posts there were still some things that couldn't be left out…so here's a run down of the random, funny or just plain silly things that went on the rest of the month!
I enjoy this mug so much I photograph it. It's ok. I know I'm a dork.
Poor mister just wasn't feeling right and after a trip to the doctor we discovered he not only had an ear infection in both ears, but was also rocking a case of RSV. Since he's older he tolerated it like a champ and other than keeping him comfortable with the coughing we just prayed he kept on fighting it off like he was. Thankfully we were blessed with it passing quickly. Unfortunately his ears didn't want to clear up and we actually go this week for yet another follow up after yet another two weeks of antibiotics. Both him and Owen had back to back ear infections…boy am I ready for summertime!!
Ya know because even smoke jumpers need a little help with their dry skin now and then...
After beginning to recover from RSV we had one of those "I'm a wobbly little guy who is trying to keep up with two big boys" kind of accident. Which resulted in tripping and falling into our the trim around our front door…and giving him the worst black eye this mother of 3 boys has seen so far. So far I said, because I'm certain it will not be close to the last one we see!
If you look closely you can see all 3 boys very intently watching something on TV. No idea what it was…but they were engrossed!
My dinner helper.
I rearranged my cell phone and it's app contents so it looks prettier. I did this per a blog I follow…and I have to say other than a small panic attack trying to find Cartwheel at the checkout the day after I made the switch I am super happy with it!!
Valentine's Day was pretty awesome around here!! We delivered some fun goodies to our fave peeps and got some amazing goodies from our fave peeps. The boys had fun filling our valentine's for school and they really LOVED the tattoos with the valentines!
This is what Greyson thought of the whole Valentine's Day creating…he's not sleeping here…just laying down and watch TV upside down. He's related to the big two…and this proves it!
This was a concoction of mine created after I helped create Valentine's, put on tattoos, bathe and feed 3 kids dinner, do homework and then get them all in bed…while my husband was out on an overnight business trip. I don't need an at'a girl…it's my job and I wouldn't trade it for anything…BUT there may or may not be vodka in here.
Owen's valentines he handed out at school. There was a small erase taped to it…and the valentine's turned into masks from the How to Train Your Dragon movies. His fave is the first one…but these did the trick! This was his first year actually filling out names and creating these for friends. We sent them in last year but we were still working on simply writing Owen so this was fun to watch him do this year. We wrote all our friends names ourselves. Proud Momma!
Cooper helped…sorta.
Sometimes I need gentle reminders to savor the days…even the craziest of days. And also gentle reminders to not let my raging, opinionated 3 year old get the best of my temper. And also that I'm not in control. I posted this above my kitchen sink.
More gosh darn stickers that won't come off…seriously. I'm still annoyed!!
The boxes that they came on sure are cute though!
I've been doing monthly mini-art at Owen's school…this months creation was about texture. I had a blast and so did the kids!!
After the RSV outbreak…I started taking these. They are a very potent tasting citrus…but I did not get sick. Even when I had a day or two of scratchy throat…it never amounted to anything. Yay! Go vitamins go!
This was adorable and I happily glanced into the future…where these two team work some house chores.
An afternoon filled with squishy sand…is an afternoon filled with happy boys in this house!
I don't know when he got so big! But before our eyes he's become a snack smuggling, walking babbling tiny person. It's an amazing transformation!
He steals towels…like a felon. And he's usually pretty stealthy about it too!
My beautiful 31 weekender bag. The crush is very real!
Finger prints on our 50 inch. So not cool…because they have to climb up on the entertainment center and stand up.
These two are not right. We'll leave it at that.
My brother, Katie and Miss R put together a basket of all of our favorite awesome things just because…after all the ear infections and craziness…they thought we could use a pick me up! So darn sweet…and so darn delicious!!!!
He is blessed with the same crazy hair as his brothers….
Totally in love with my cousin's travel wall!!
After what felt like a long hiatus because of our sickness and the cold and all…we hit the donut shop. This kid could barely contain his excitement!!
Along with towel thievery, his other talents include DVD rearranging.
Writing sentences!!
Brrr…..
Some pics of my bro and the cutest little 7 month old around!!
Made me laugh…out loud.
Mr Case Austin turned 2 and he celebrated with his favorite things…tractors and monster trucks. It was one blast of a birthday party!!! Happy birthday little man! How can you be two already????
This dress…Jer saw blue and black. I saw white and gold. It was weird but I don't understand why everyone was so mad at everyone else about it??
And that about wraps us up for February! Come on warmer March weather!!!
