Girls Weekend!!

I am gonna do a little switching of gears…the next couple posts are from current happenings!

Ahhh…the title says it all.  Girls weekend.  It was pretty much perfectly awesome and relaxing!  Steff and I took off to their new condo at Lake of the Ozarks, their lake house. It is like home away from home…and we sure did enjoy ourselves!!

Our drive down was riddled with warnings of an impending winter storm…we made it into town and grabbed dinner just in time though.  There may or may not have been some slipping and sliding in the car.  We may or may not have had a bag of booze and a man down on the walk to the condo.  And we may or may not have contemplated whether we would be iced in for the whole weekend.  BUT as luck would have it we weren't!  Friday night we got in pi's, grabbed a cocktail and flipped through the TV till we found a good movie.  Then Saturday we slept in, drank coffee, watched the ice melt and soaked up the lake view for awhile.  Then it was off to shop, lunch, drink, see 50 Shades of Grey and 100% have a blast!
Sitting down to watch 50 Shades.  We were the kids in the back row that had WAY too much fun.  My favorite part of the experience was when Anna is asked if she trusts Christian and a rowdy crowd to our right says loudly HELL NO!
Our 50 Shades viewing beverages. First time I've had a beer in the movies…I recommend it. It was pretty great!
After the movies it was Chili's for dinner and then we were lake house bound.

Sunday after a lazy start and more coffee, lake views and chatting, we took off for the Bistro.  A stop at the mall and we headed for home.  Dearest Best Friend…I heart you.  Mucho Grande. And had such an amazing time.  Can't wait to head back down!!
