When we ventured out we left our phones inside and so all I really have are afters…but fun was had! We cleaned off cars while Daddy used the snow blower on the driveway and then did a little backyard exploring. Because it was so cold the snow wasn't really good for snowballs or snowmen. But it sure was good for eating! My post snow snack and the boys can be seen below.
Mine: Hot chocolate and french vanilla snowman shaped marshmellows. Theirs: Snow. In a cup. Boys!
And then we said goodbye to February and hello to March this past weekend with 7 inches of snow! Ahh I how I love the Midwest! Because by the end of March we'll be sporting t-shirts and wondering how on earth we had snow just a few weeks ago.
This snow storm set up to be perfect sledding snow! We took off for our first family of 5 real deal sledding adventure…and oh my gosh was it a blast!! Grandpa joined us for the fun and I was transported back to all the winters we spent sledding with him. I felt like a kid again myself. And I could not be more thankful that Dad jumped in his truck and came along for the fun!!
Post sledding…
We came home with McDonalds and one sleepy/hungry crew. All 3 kids were snoozing before 8pm. That might be a record!
